Have a go at this nice and crunchy batter, produced courtesy of a bit of help from our old reliable Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil.

Ingredients
- 120g plain flour
- 120g potato starch
- 1 egg yolk
- 300ml cold beer (or sparkling mineral water)
- 2 cod fillets, sliced
- Fussels Extra Virgin Rapeseed Oil for frying
Method
Combine the two flours in a bowl.
Add the yolk.
Start adding the beer and combine.
Preheat oil for deep frying to 180C.
Dip the fish into the batter and carefully lower into the hot oil.
Fry until the batter is crispy and everything is cooked (3-4 minutes).
Serve with chips and home made tartare sauce!
